About ADHDefg

Plain language — who makes this site, what it publishes, and how the research happens.

What ADHDefg is

ADHDefg is a free library of research-backed guides and browser-based tools for working adults with ADHD. The guides cover the workday problems generic productivity advice misses: starting tasks, managing time, handling feedback, burnout, and asking for accommodations. Every tool runs in your browser, needs no account, and keeps your answers on your device.

The letters after the acronym

ADHDefg — the letters that come after the acronym — is about life after diagnosis. The name is not a clinical term. It is a reminder that the diagnosis is the starting point, not the whole story: the work of building a workday that fits comes after it.

What we publish

Right now the library holds five in-depth guides and starting paths: the cited deep-dives plus the four-step start-here path. New guides land as they are ready, and the Weekly Toolkit brings one research-backed issue every Monday. Browse the article archive or read the weekly issues. Everything is free on the site, not behind an email.

How the research happens

Every guide begins with live research: recent studies, regulator guidance, and named outlets, read in the week the piece is written. Numbers and quotes appear only when we can trace them, and every guide ends with sources. Drafts get a review pass before publish, and published pieces carry a dated review block. The full method is on the editorial process page.

Who it is for

This site is built first for working adults with ADHD — especially people diagnosed late, or still working out what the diagnosis means for their job. It is for anyone tired of advice that assumes reliable executive function, and who wants something usable today. Students, parents, and newly diagnosed readers are welcome to use the same starting path.

Where to go next
